We are sad to announce that on February 2, 2022, at the age of 62, Mark S. King of Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Theresa M. King, and Herbert C. King, Sr.; and his siblings, John J. King and Marion Valois. He is survived by: his sons, Jeremy H. King and Lucas C. King; his siblings, Herbert King, Christopher King, Joann Tripp and Theresa Lester (Russ); and his former wife Joyce King. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In our due diligence to keep the family safe, those planning on attending the services will be asked to adhere to the current social distancing guidelines.

“I'm so sorry to hear about Mark. I was stationed in Maryland with Mark in the late Seventies. We had so many fun times. I met Mark's family in Sharon Hill PA. a couple of times. They were all such great people like Mark. Mark taught me a lot about music. I even came around to his band "Yes". Though it took a while. I feel blessed to have known Mark in those days.
