She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Cavunis and Catherine Cavunis; her siblings, Patricia Bernato and James Cavunis; and her husband William Chimekas.
She is survived by: her sister Evelyn Dermond; and her children, Linda Flick (John), Karen Miller (Russell), Maria Anderson (Gary) and James Chimekas (Sindi). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
