She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Jackson and Marian Cannon; her siblings, Betty Ricketts, James Shavers, Percy Jackson and Ishmael Jackson; and her son Garry Moore Jr..
She is survived by: her siblings, Ernest Ricketts and Annette Burton; and her children, Karen Jackson, Kenneth Jackson (Felicia), Alesia Simms and Chennelle Echevarria (Jose). She is also survived by ten grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
After decades of being and educator, Elizabeth retired from teaching in the Philadelphia School District, and found herself being a teacher to her grandchildren while at home during the pandemic.
