He was predeceased by: his parents, Christos and Peristera; and his brother Ioannis. He is survived by: his wife Evagelia "Angie" (Tsakavela); his children, Peri Browne (Michael Browne) and Chris Papakonstantinou (Melissa Kohler); and his sister Maria Iatropoulo (Panaioti).

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in his name may be made to the church.
