He was predeceased by: his father James F. Urey; and his brother James R. Urey. He is survived by: his mother Margaret C. Urey; his wife Jackie; his daughters, Rachael Kulp (Jesse) and Rebecca Urey; his sisters, Patricia Witt (late Chip) and Joan Morrison (Raymond); and his pets, Chauncey and Bryce. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family will be establishing a memorial fund in Rick's name to create a foundation that will help fund programs that he was passionate about, to spread awareness, reduce harm, and break the stigma of addiction and mental health.
