She was predeceased by: her significant other David E. Solum; her son Jeffrey P. Solum (Beth); and her parents, Dorothy Sakers and Robert Sakers. She is survived by: her children, Paul D. Solum and Dina Mae Harris (Frank); and her daughters-in-law, Beth Solum and Renee Solum. She is also survived by five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and three brothers.
