He was predeceased by: his father William; his sister Sara Jane Gay; and his great grandchild Mason. He is survived by: his wife Cora M. Nye Hill; his children, Sharon Jones (Robert), John A. Hill, Jr. (Debra), Melinda Grieski (Paul) and Corin Parker (Matt); and his siblings, Gail Madison (Norman), Ruthann Geser and William D. Hill, Jr. (Janet). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren.
