She was predeceased by: her parents, John H. Lavin and Elizabeth "Betty" Sowa; and her brother John P. Lavin. She is survived by: her sisters, Karen Riding (Geoffrey) of St. Marys, GA and Susan Sowa of Upper Chichester, PA; and her close friends, Diane Heacock and Wanda Gray.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Providence Animal Shelter, 555 Sandy Bank Rd., Media, PA 19063.
