He was predeceased by: his son Jeff Solum (Beth); his parents, Hans E. Solum and Mae Williams Solum; and his brother Oliver Solum. He is survived by: his siblings, Hans Solum and Pauline Petrovitch; his wife Mary A. Sakers Solum; his children, Paul D. Solum and Dina Mae Harris (Frank); and his daughter-in-law Renee Solum. He is also survived by five grandchildren and one great grandson.
