He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederic Firlein and Christina Firlein; and his sister Beryl Ann Cirrillo. He is survived by: his wife Linda Firlein; his daughter Tracey Hobbs (Jason); his grandsons, Ryan and Eric Kanavel; his great grandchildren, Faith Kamahele, Aubrey and Mikael Kanavel; his mother-in-law Dolores Ryan; and his brother Frederic Firlein (Mary). He is also survived by Doberman and Pitty; many loving nieces and nephews.
He loved adventure including skydiving, scuba diving, skiing, horseback riding, running marathons and charity runs.
