He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus N. Hendrix and Videlia Hendrix (Davis); and his siblings, Ernie Hendrix, James Newman, Bertie Newman and Vernie Finch.
He is survived by: his wife Paula D. Hendrix (Rio); his sons, Stephen Hendrix (Michelle) and Mark Hendrix (Rebecca); his sister Eunice Law; his grandchildren, Samantha, Stephen, Jr., Caleb, Madison, Emma and Jocelyn; and his great grandchildren, Rori, Noah and Lucas.
