It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margarete J. Frerichs (Upper Black Eddy, Pennsylvania), who passed away on September 18, 2019, at the age of 108, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Heinrich Korber and Gesine Korber (Behrje); her husband Eilert Frerichs; her son-in-law Lewis Post; and her siblings, Anna, Johanna, Alwina, Hinrich, Johann and Heinz.
She is survived by: her daughters, Helen B. Post of Macungie, PA and Margaret A. Pfisterer (Paul) of Tinicum Township, PA; and her brother Herbert Korber of Germany. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
