He was predeceased by: his parents, Rex R. Squire and Mabel Squire (Wolfe); his daughter Barbara Lou Squire; and his siblings, Pressley R. Squire and Bettie Snell (Squire).
He is survived by: his aunt Lou (Squire); his uncle Earl Whitman; his sons, Michael E. Squire (Barbara D.) of Mechanicsburg and Matthew R. Squire (Beth Myers) of Washington, D. C.; and his grandchildren, S. Lucas Squire and Elizabeth M. Squire. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He began a 'breakfast club' with his classmates that continued until the pandemic forced its end.
