He was predeceased by: his parents, George E. Eichelberger and Etta M. Eichelberger (O'Neal); and his brothers, Kenneth, Jack and Richard.
He is survived by: his wife Evalene M. Eichelberger (Gettys); his children, David G. Eichelberger (Jose Vallejos) of Philadelphia and Susan E. Shafer (Scott A.) of Downingtown; his brother Joseph Eichelberger (Pauline) of Saxton; his grandchildren, Heidi Thomas (Steven), Lea Engle (Jason) and Zachary Shafer (Sarah); and his great grandchildren, Emma, Molly, Samuel, Thomas, Hadley, Evalene and Elizabeth. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
