He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. Swisher and Myrtle S. Swisher (Whitmoyer); his wife Geraldine L. Swisher (Temple); his sons, Barry L. Swisher and Steven C. Swisher; his siblings, Charles Swisher, Harold Swisher and Blanche Peltonen; his granddaughter Claudia Davison; and his great grandchild Memphis Hearn.
He is survived by: his children, Elaine L. Stugart (Dale) of Unityville, Joan M. Ayers (Shawn) of Newcomerstown, OH, Scott E. Swisher (Sue) of Unityville and Randy E. Swisher of Benton. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
The family will provide the flowers and suggest memorial contributions to Moreland Baptist Church or the Lairdsville Fire Company.
