He was predeceased by: his parents, John O'Brien and Nellie O'Brien (Whalen); his son David O'Brien; and his siblings, Junior, Roland, Donald and Eileen.
He is survived by: his children, Darlene Weiss (Mike), Debbie Martin-Conrad (Don), Donald O'Brien (Phoung) and Dwayne O'Brien; his grandchildren, Mickey (Vonnie), Stephanie (Mike), Kristin (Lisa), Laurie (Eric) and Cheosung; and his great grandchildren, Bella, Liv, Kayla, Jared, Tripp, Tessa, Rhett and Bennet.
