He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Sr. Davis and Jeanette Davis (Leonard); his adoptive parents, Andrew Sr. Holup and Edna Mae Holup; and his siblings, Ronald, Robert, John Jr. Davis and Janet Sydlar.

He is survived by: his daughters, Tricia Joseph (Richard Kino), Dawn Duritsky (Frank) and Sheila McDonough (Richard); and his grandchildren, Brett, Randall Joseph, Frank IV, Ryan, Halle Duritsky, Madison and Richard Jr. McDonough. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
