Terry Hoch Obituary

We bid farewell to Terry Hoch of Uniontown, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 2, 2025 at the age of 77. Terry touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Hoch and Nell Hoch (Fike); and his siblings, Albert, Richard, Charles Hoch, Jean Hoch, Geraldine Cunningham, Doris Cehula and Barbara Duke.

He is survived by: his significant other Joyce Hoch (Wydo) of Uniontown; his daughters, Gretchen Nicholson (Wes) of Scottdale, Wendy Hoch (Joey Budinsky) of Uniontown and Stephanie Rauch (Drew) of Pickerington, OH; his grandchildren, Hudson, Adeline, Truman Nicholson and Bowie Rauch; his sister Shirley "Sugar" Harned (Earl) of Las Vegas, NV; his sister-in-law Phyllis Bryson of Raleigh, NC; his niece Becky Parnell of Rainbow City, AL; and his pets, Kevin, Harrison, Milly and Chewy. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

In remembrance of Terry's life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to the Fayette Friends of Animals, FFOAshelter.org or to your favorite animal shelter.

“Joyce and family. So sorry to hear of Terry's passing. I worked with him at MSHA and met him through Steve Luzik and Paula Carenbauer. He always had a smile on his face and a wonderful sense of humor, we shared many a laugh through the years. Hopefully he's met up with some of his former pets on Uncle Charlie's farm, one of the many stories he shared with us. You are all in our thoughts and prayers, God bless, Diane and Matt Schau”
