She was predeceased by: her spouses, David Walton Swisher and Heaven; her parents, William Henry Bodkin, Sr. and Mary Bodkin (Johnston); and her siblings, William H. Bodkin, Jr., Robert F. Bodkin, Fred R. Bodkin, Margaret Kelly and Jane Ferguson-Clamp.
She is survived by: her daughters, Peggy Ann Swisher of Williamsburg and Susan Marie Carter (Brian) of Stephens City; her grandchildren, Lindsay Sodee (Josh), Dr. Lauren Carter Lyles (Nate), David Tubbs and Eric Tubbs; and her great grandchildren, Carter Sodee and Lennox Lyles. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A memorial service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at 1410a N Augusta St, Staunton, VA 24401.
