It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Hunter of Uniontown, Pennsylvania, born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 18, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ulysses Johnson and Freddie Mae Hunter (Jones); his grandparents, Joseph and Janie Hunter of Lincoln Way; and his son Gary Townsend.
He is survived by: his wife Georgia Tarpley of Uniontown; his children, Sharold Townsend, Rhonda Hunter, Ronald Townsend, Peter Hunter and Lenny Spence; his sister Jacquelyn Diane Hunter; his aunt Shirley Spence; his stepchildren, Richard Taylor (Myra), James Taylor (Karen Ransaw), Mary Taylor, Bertha Tarpley-Arvinger and Caroline Tarpley; his grandchildren, Aaron Webb, Joshua Taylor, Jerica Taylor, Jamalica Taylor, Jaykel Brown, Maurice Godfrey III, London Taylor, Serena Taylor, Stephon McFarland, Bria Taylor, Jeanise Taylor, Shaun Taylor, Rihannna Powell, Kiana Arvinger, Deondre Dotson, Tiajana Brown and Raekwon Pratt; and his great grandchild Joey Lipscomb Jr..
