She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Donofrio and Regina Donofrio (Maher); her siblings, Maurita Altomonte and Donnie Donofrio; her parents-in-law, Albert McDowell and Mary McDowell (Altomonte); and her brother-in-law John Skakandy.
She is survived by: her husband Albert L. "Buddy" McDowell; her son Albert A. "Bud" McDowell (Hyun-Kyung Ko) of Vancouver, WA; her siblings, Toni Lee Skakandy and Marty Donofrio of Uniontown; her sister-in-law Renee Donofrio of Republic; her nieces, Oceanna Marr Fagét of Durham, NC and Sirena Little (Will) of Masontown; her sister-in-law Rosemarie Oleksik (Bill); her niece Mary Lou; and her nephew Billy.
In lieu of other tributes, contributions to the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center may be made in her memory.
