It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois A. (Dandrea) Monahan of Uniontown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 31, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Dandrea and Eva Dandrea (Delligatti); her husband Dwain Bernard Monahan; and her brother James. She is survived by: her children, Lisa of Nevada and Lesley of South Carolina; her grandchildren, Justine Baptiste (Rodney Scott Jr.) of South Carolina and Duane Baptiste (Brady Andrews) of South Carolina; her siblings, Evelyn Mozur, Rita Masi, Marie DeCarlucci, Peter Dandrea and Donald Dandrea; and her sister-in-law Bonnie Dandrea. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

“Dear Lisa and Lesley and Family, Prayers for peace and comfort for you all. Aunt Lois was llke a second Mother to us growing up. She kept us in the summer and sent us all back home with school shoes, sneakers and a new outfit for school which was so helpful to my Mom. We have so many fond memories of her and Uncle D.. We had such good times together, kids today have no idea what they are missing! It is because of her that I chose Nursing as my profession. She will be missed. Love, LuAnn”
