He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Smith and Helen Smith (Strelowe) of Crete, Nebraska.; and his siblings, Robert, Clarence, William, Martin Smith, Helen Smith, Ester Sheirmeyer (Smith) and Mildred Kreuzberg (Smith).
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Smith (Kramer); and his children, Lance Smith (Annfee) of San Antonio, Craig Smith (Lourdes) of Uniontown, Lorrie Friday of Windsor, Christina Silva of Uniontown, Lisa Millan (James) of Uniontown and Casandra Wood (Robert) of Uniontown. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren.
