Lavina left this world on February 11, 2025 at the age of 76, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Thomas and Rosella Thomas (Stark); her husband Thomas Fike; her son John Fike; and her siblings, Edna Falkner, Mary Fike and Shirley Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Thomas (Joyce) of Markleysburg, Dawn Black (Howard Jr.) of Brownsville and Dianna Fike of Uniontown; her grandchildren, Mike Ravenscraft, Robert Thomas, Joe Dugan, Brandon Dugan, Nicole Scherich, Sara Fike, Danielle Fike and Dylan Hatfield; and her siblings, James Thomas (Mimi) of Jonesborough, TN, Judy Smith (Roger) of Bruceton Mills, WV, Bea Miller and Harry Thomas of Markleysburg. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Donald R. Crawford Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
