He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Vilsack and Winona Breakiron Vilsack; his stepson Shawn Compher; and his sister Janet Danowski. He is survived by: his wife Beth Vance Vilsack of Uniontown; his children, Stephen Vilsack, Dawn Roberts, Robyn Vilsack and Julie Compher; and his brother Bernard Vilsack of Ocean City, MD.
