He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray E. Grimm and Kathleen Grimm (Phelan); his grandson Adam Donohue; and his brother Robert Grimm. He is survived by: his wife Yoko Grimm (Nakasone); his daughter Kathleen E. Koffler (Raymond); his grandchildren, Zackary Koffler of Uniontown and Ethan Koffler of Uniontown; his children, Linda Williams of Alabama and Donald Grimm (Arlene) of Tennessee; his grandson Donald Grimm of Florida; and his caregivers, Angie, Zack, Tammy, Audrey and Kris.
