It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John McGarvey (Uniontown, Pennsylvania), born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 26, 2018, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Carl McGarvey. He is survived by: his parent Rita McGarvey (Kline); his wives, Mike and Michalene E.; his brother Edwin McGarvey; his sons, Robert Nelson McGarvey (Rebecca), Shawn Mark McGarvey and Daniel Shane McGarvey; his grandchildren, Robert Michael McGarvey, Ian C. McGarvey and Zane O.; his siblings, Nancy Rhodes (Earl Lynn McGarvey) and Richard McGarvey (Joyce); his brother-in-law Joe Thomas; and also, Mike, Dan and Several. He is also survived by Several nieces and nephews He will be sadly missed by his beloved dog: Brandi A very special thank you to Dan's close friends and neighbors: Susan and Chuck Bondarenka, Cathy, and Debbie, and all of the other close friends.
