He was predeceased by: his parent Harold Sr.. He is survived by: his parent Julia Cannon Whyel; his son David W. Whyel (Pam) of Carmichaels; his granddaughter Heather Voithofer; his great grandchildren, Morgan Voithofer and Hunter Voithofer; his siblings, Clyde Whyel (Joan) of Vacaville and Carol Serenari of Elyria; his sister-in-law Betty Whyel of Point Marion; his wife Earla J. DeBolt Whyel; his son John Whyel Jr.; and his brothers, Harold Jr. and Kenneth Whyel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
