He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert G. Sr. Thomas and Martha E. Thomas (Tamenne); his son Richard L. Thomas; and his brother Herbert G. Thomas Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Rose Lee Thomas (Tedrow); his son John C. "Pete" Thomas Jr. (Kim Walton) of Uniontown; his grandchildren, Lauren Nicole Thomas of Uniontown, Jennifer Bree (Thomas Mills) of Uniontown and Kody Thomas (Abigail Wingrove) of Uniontown; his great grandchildren, Cutler Mills, Isaac, Anthony Luckey and Aylah Walton; and his niece Lori Moss. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
