He was predeceased by: his parents, Aloysious Batya and Norma Batya; and his sister Mary Metcalf. He is survived by: his siblings, Barbara Christopher (late Chris), Al Batya (Kim Brennan), Mikey Batya and Danny Batya (Anna); his nephews, Joshua, Patrick, Danny, Jr. and Zachary; and his siblings-in-law, Carey Metcalf and Joe Kaylor.
