He is survived by: his wife Karen Savage (Bittinger); his son James E. Savage, Jr. (Christine) of Washington, D. C.; his brother Dr. Earl J. Savage of Mishawaka, Indiana; and also Jill Spegar. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends.
