He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Burkholder and Hazel Burkholder (Caldwell); his former wife Jeannie; and his siblings, Audrey Perkins and William Burkholder.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly; his siblings, Doris Keefer, Ron Burkholder (Patty) of Connellsville and Genny Pavlick (George) of Atwater, Ohio; his children, Karen Prohira (John) and Kenneth Burkholder (Patty) of Carmichaels; his stepchildren, Roy McMullan (Lisa) of California, Tina Ayr of Ralph and Dawn Camou of Ralph; his grandchildren, Lori Burkholder, Kristy Marzo, Richard Burkholder and Danielle McGinnis; and his stepgrandchildren, Tiffany Elias, Brittany Camou, Randy Millholland, Mattison Johnston, Anthony Ayr, Vicki Ayr, Louie McMullan, Marissa Johnson and Hana Williams.
