It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald A. Slampak of Uniontown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 6, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Gerald departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Gerald. Though Gerald may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Slampak and Elizabeth Slampak (Malarik); and his siblings, Ronald Slampak, Teresa McClintock and Eileen Monaghan.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Slampak (DeFazio) of Uniontown; his daughters, Laurel Slampak-Wyrostek (Dylan) of Pittsburgh and Sara Slampak of Pittsburgh; and his grandson Eli Wyrostek.
