Gerald A. Grimes Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 6, 2024, at the age of 86, Gerald A. Grimes of Uniontown, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Gerald may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Grimes and Nora Grimes (Sterbutzel). He is survived by: his wife Barbara E. Grimes (Freiberg); his children, Debra Ramos-Herrera (Jesus) and Gerald Grimes, Jr.; his grandchildren, Amaya Ramos-Herrera and Joshua Ramos-Herrera; his great grandchild Alex Gonzalez; and his sister Audrey Boger (Harold). He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Dearth Funeral Home (35 S Mill St, New Salem, PA 15468). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
