He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Riley Mt Joy and Mary Sue Mt Joy; his wife Jean Marie Mt Joy; his sister Betty Jean McGee; and his stepson Jim Rambo.

He is survived by: his stepchildren, Linda Denny of Uniontown, Jeff Rambo of Uniontown, Mark of Uniontown and Rose Rambo of Uniontown.
