We are sad to announce that on February 8, 2023, at the age of 84, Elias Gabriel of Uniontown, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Zaghieb Gabriel and Anne Gabriel (George); and his brother James Gabriel. He is survived by: his wife Rosemarie Gabriel (Brown); his children, Gregory Gabriel (Beth), Leslie Yarish (James) and Paula Gabriel; his grandchildren, Christine Anderson (O. Scott), David Gabriel (Kayla), Rachel Hilton (Tyler), Rebecca Luketich (Samuel), Emily Yarish, Derek Soom, Ryan Soom, Nicole Soom and Mario Rubino; his great grandchild Natalie Hilton; and his siblings, Ruby Gabriel Bonney, Arthur Gabriel, Dr. Peter Gabriel (Mary) and Dr. Paulette Gabriel (Charles Mork). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.

“Our deepest sympathy to the entire Gabriel family, especially his widow, Rhodie. Rhodie was so kind and loving to my sister Martha Nassif Nesser. Eli was so generous to my brother in law Lash Nesser, spending so much time to take Lash out for coffee and sharing memories during the time. Lash was crippled by a bad heart. My father was Joe Nassif and a good friend of the father of Eli. Our condolences also to Ruby, Art, Pauline, Benny and families. Tom and Cristina Nassif”
