He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles A. Bowlen and Violet McKenzie Berdar; his grandson Chase Dulla; and his brothers, Chuck Bowlen, Roy Bowlen and Ronald Bowlen.
He is survived by: his wife Dolly Hoffer Bowlen; his daughters, Rosemary Heath of Annapolis, MD, Vickie Bowlen (Joe) of Uniontown, Tina Kashmer (Tim) of Woodbridge, VA and Tammy Rhoderick (Rob) of Elizabeth, PA; his stepdaughters, Melissa Dodson of Uniontown, Nicki Moel (Rich) of Deer Lake, PA and Karrie Bowlen of Haydentown, PA; his siblings, Gary Bowlen (Becky) of Evans Manor, PA, Mary Fordyce of Uniontown, PA, Norma Donaldson (Jack) of Fairchance, PA and Linda Bowlen of Little Brownfield, PA; his caregiver Kenny Gibbs; and also Gary Workman. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and nephew.
