He is survived by: his mother Mae Thomas of Uniontown, PA; his sister Rosalind Black (David) of Shenandoah Junction, WV; his nieces, Olivia Black of Arcata, California and Dava Gant of Pittsburgh, PA; his nephew Jacob Black of Shenandoah Junction, WV; and his great-nephews, Eric, Eli and David Gant of Pittsburgh, PA.
