She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Tressler and Helen Tressler; her husband Edward R. Hemmit, Sr.; and her sisters, Barbara Jean Shipley and Joanne Stephens.
She is survived by: her children, Amy Newhouse of Uniontown, Edward, Jr., Natalie of Naples and Wendy Lemunyon of Uniontown; her grandchildren, Michael Newhouse (Summer) of Uniontown, Shelby Newhouse (Jonathan) of New Stanton, Nicolette, Angel Riquelme of Naples, Haley Hemmit of Naples, Shaylyn, Alex Suarez of Cocoa and Danielle Koontz of Uniontown; her great grandchildren, Callan of Florida, Colvin Riquelme of Florida, Aralyn of Florida, Adrian Suarez of Florida, Owen Koontz and Sigwalt of Uniontown; her sisters, Joyce (George Camlin) and Mary Jane (Robert Thomas); and her caregivers, Lauren, Nicole and Betty.
