She was predeceased by: her parents, Dison Holmes (DH) and Mallissa Brown Holmes; her siblings, Joseph Holmes, Curtis L. Holmes, Gloria Jean Holmes, Richard S. Holmes and William B. Holmes; and her husband Amos Saunders.
She is survived by: her children, Amos R. Saunders Jr. (Donna) of Uniontown, PA, Michael A. Saunders of Uniontown, PA, James Saunders (Val) of Gaithersburg, MD, Melissa M. Saunders of Frederick, MD, Andrena B. Daniels of Uniontown, PA., Traci Gathers of Charlotte, NC and Amos'; and also, Walter Saunders of Tampa, FL, Nancy Saunders of Alexandria, VA, Almeta Saunders of Warner Robins, GA, Elenora Dean of Silver Springs, MD and Timothy Harvin of Upper Marlboro, MD. She is also survived by 19 Grandchildren, 25 Great-grandchildren, and 5 Great-great-grandchildren, as well as a host of other relatives and friends, and a very special friend.
