Betsy Ann Lizza Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betsy Ann Lizza (Uniontown, Pennsylvania), who passed away on February 9, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Kegg and Lois Kegg (Bell); and her in-laws, Mario and Adelina Lizza. She is survived by: her husband John; her children, John Lizza Jr. (Kelly) of Uniontown and Adele Dean (Jeremiah) of Uniontown; her grandsons, Austin (Cooper Dean) and Additionally; and her close friends, Emmy and Sophia. She is also survived by her siblings, in-laws, nephews, nieces and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the DeGusipe Funeral Home & Crematory (65 N Gallatin Ave, Uniontown, PA 15401). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Mount St. Macrina Cemetery (500 W Main St, Uniontown, PA 15401).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cure Alzheimer's Fund, a non-profit organization dedicated to funding research in order to prevent, slow and reverse Alzheimer's disease.
