She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Carrington Williams Sr.; her children, Vincent E. Williams and Bridget Ann Williams; her parents, Robert Lincoln Curry and Sarah Callahan (Curry); her siblings, Clark Curry and Donatta Mae Curry; her grandson Michael A. Scott; and her great grandchild Jadden Rein Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Richard C. Williams II (Anthony E. Williams) and Annette Naeimypour (Dewayne John C. Williams); and her brothers, Robert Curry and Richard Curry (Darlene). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lantz Funeral Home Inc. (297 E Main St, Uniontown, PA 15401). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Barbara's dedication to her community was not just an echo of her ancestors' courageous contributions to the Underground Railroad, Colored Civil War Infantry, and both World Wars - it was a continuation of their legacy.
