She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry Ford and Lillie Johnson Ford; her sister Anne Mae Ford; and her grandsons, Jarred Ashburn and DJ Clayton.

She is survived by: her children, Carlton Ford, Lillie Ford, Lillian Ford and Arlin Ford; her grandchildren, Abrelle, Darius, Asia, Shantell, Demetric, Jedzia, Chyna Ford, Da'Johnna Johnson, Shanell Dellasanti and Kevin Ashburn; her nieces, Madison Ford and Shala Fredericks; her siblings, Walter Johnson, Larry Ford, Gary Lee Ford, Gloria Austin, Richard Ford, Regina Ford, Darren Ford and Darelle Ford; her sisters-in-law, Maxine Ford, Marva Ford and Ronye Ford; her goddaughters, Kim Meowry, Kizzy Brown and Ambrea Taylor; her nephew Gage Meowry; and her friends, Debbie Jordan and Chris Crisswell. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
