Andrew Gregory Sopkovich Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Andrew Gregory Sopkovich of Uniontown, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 17, 2025 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ambrose Sr. Sopkovich and Anna Sopkovich (McGalla); his wife Janet J. Sopkovich (Duranko); and his siblings, Marie, Susan, Ambrose Jr., Patricia and Martha.
He is survived by: his children, Cheri Sopkovich of Uniontown, PA, Cathy Sloan of Uniontown, PA and Andrea Fuller (Dan) of Uniontown, PA; his grandchildren, Nicole Pluto of Uniontown, PA, David Pluto (Kristen) of Hopwood, PA, Jeanette Russell of Uniontown and Dan Fuller (Heather) of Bethel Park, PA; his great grandchildren, Cassandra, Shawn Johnson, Alexandria, Brennan, Joseph, Aria and Reese; his great great grandchild Maizie; and his brother Francis Sopkovich of Bitner. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the DeGusipe Funeral Home & Crematory Uniontown & Pittsburgh Chapel (65 N Gallatin Ave, Uniontown, PA 15401). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
