He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter L. Saunders and Mary M. Weston Saunders Harvin; his wife Betty Jo Saunders; and his brother Richard Saunders (Butch). He is survived by: his children, Amos R. Saunders Jr. (Donna) of Uniontown, PA, Michael A. Saunders of Uniontown, PA, James Saunders (Val) of Gaithersburg, MD, Melissa M. Saunders of Frederick, MD, Andrena B. Daniels of Uniontown, PA., Traci Gathers of Charlotte, NC and Amos'; and his siblings, Walter Saunders of Tampa, FL, Nancy Saunders of Alexandria, VA, Almeta Saunders of Warner Robins, GA, Elenora Dean of Silver Springs, MD and Timothy Harvin of Upper Marlboro, MD. He is also survived by 19 Grandchildren, 25 Great-grandchildren, and 5 Great-great-grandchildren, as well as a host of other relatives and friends, and a very special friend.
