He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Weingard Laird; his siblings, Gerald Harry Laird (Shirley Laird) and Thelma Laird Doutt (Ed); his children, Skip Laird (Debi), Jan Laird Mitchell (Jeffrey), Brian Laird (Angeles), San Diego, Shawnda Engle Caldwell (Daniel), Cheryl Engle Mosher (Don) and Carol Engle Haskins (Shawn); his grandchildren, Adrianne Laird Hunt (Kevin), Devin Laird (Megan), Alissa Laird Fuller (Gavin), Megan Himrod Trace, Kurt Himrod (Laura), Josue Laird, Nahuel Laird, Steven Kilbane (Elizabeth), Meranne Kilbane Schweitzer (James), Drew Kilbane (Miranda), Leah Caldwell, Jorden Mosher, Laneya Mosher Matteson (Eric), Mckenna Haskins, Kylee Haskins Gardner (Nathanael) and Shad Haskins; and his great grandchildren, Ryan Himrod, Luke Himrod, Mia Laird, Madison Laird, Jaxon Laird, Kale Fuller, Reed Fuller, Brayden Kilbane, Dawsyn Crum, Eastyn Kilband, Alex Schweitzer, Mason Schweitzer, Aiden Schweitzer, Talin Mosher and Tucker Matteson.
He missed seeing his friends when he was no longer able to go due to COVID restrictions.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Union City C&MA Church or to the family, in care of Michael S. Pandolph Funeral Home, Union City.
