He was predeceased by: his father William R. Rick; and his brother Charles "Tony" Rick. He is survived by: his mother Ruth Jane Briel Rick of Union City; his wife Tina M. VanCuren Rick; his children, Angela Laub of Pottstown, Dominique Rick (Brandon Martin) of Spartansburg, Jessica Rick of Washington, William C. Rick of Corry and Robert Rick (Megan) of Campobello, SC; his siblings, Beverly Rick of Union City and Edward Rick of Boyertown; and his grandchildren, Thomas, Extin, Avah, Lendal and Hunter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
