He was predeceased by: his parents, James Courson and Hazel Masters Courson; and his siblings, Betty Fenton, James, William and David Courson.
He is survived by: his children, Amy Courson (Joseph Cunningham) of Waterford, Brad Courson (Sara) of Texas and Jason Wettekin (Rachel) of Erie; his wife Brenda M. Nelson; his sisters, Barb Yarber (Allen) of Florida and Diane Sanden (Gary) of Union City; and his siblings-in-law, Barb Woodard (Michael) of Tennessee, Diane of Erie, Gary Nelson of Florida, Ray Nelson (Sue) of Corry and Ray Fenton of Pleasantville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Warren-Glenn Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. (62 S Main St, Union City, PA 16438).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Thomas's honor to the Union City Ambulance, located at 50 2nd Avenue, Union City, Pennsylvania 16438, to continue the spirit of service that he valued so deeply.
