Rose Swan Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Swan of Union City, Pennsylvania, born in Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 17, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Carniewski and Beatrice Hayes Carniewski; her husband James Swan; her children, Charles Bailey and Karen Kelsey (Bailey); her granddaughter Jennifer Bailey; and her siblings, James Carniewski, John "Sonny" Carniewski, Florence McWilliams, Mary Odem and Catherine Carniewski.
She is survived by: her children, Carol A. Kelsey of Union City, Lori A. Metzgar of Union City and David L. Bailey (Tina Burroughs) of Erie; her grandchild Terry Bailey; and her siblings, Geraldine Middleton of Union City, Patricia Kimmy of Union City, Christine "Bev" Huhs of Kansas, Louis Carniewski (Elaine) of Ohio and Julius "Butch" Carniewski (Diane) of Union City. She is also survived by twenty great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren.
