He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Robert Roden, Sr. and Doris Roden (Mattice); his stepmother Dorothy Roden; his brother Robert Roden, Jr.; and his in-laws, Raymond and Ruth Gourley.
He is survived by: his nephew Gregory Troyer; his wife Carole Roden (Gourley); his children, Richelle Ransom (Christopher) and Scott Roden (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Kyra Ransom, Conor Ransom and Grayson Roden; his sister Deborah; his brother-in-law Fred Crosby; his sister Verone (Von); his siblings-in-law, Raymond Miller, Janice and Eldon Troyer; and his stepmother Anne Shaaban (Adel). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and special family friends.
